Loma Linda University Health Begins Construction On Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital In Loma Linda, California

The healthcare provider is partnering with Lifepoint Rehabilitation on the project, which will deliver a freestanding 80-bed facility.

Loma Linda University Health (Loma Linda, Calif.) and Lifepoint Rehabilitation (Brentwood, Tenn.) have started construction on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Loma Linda, according to a news release.

The project comprises a freestanding facility with 80 inpatient beds, relocating rehabilitation services from the Loma Linda University Health East Campus.

Planned services include intensive nursing and physical, occupational, and speech pathology for adults recovering from conditions such as stroke, neurological disease, and brain or spinal cord injuries.

The rehabilitation hospital is anticipated to open in summer 2028.
