Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Nears Opening In Tacoma, Washington

The $480 million, 250,000-square-foot pediatric campus relocates and expands services from Tacoma General Hospital.

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, a new freestanding pediatric campus, is set to open this spring in Tacoma, Wash., according to komonews.com.

The $480 million, 250,000-square-foot hospital comprises a 6-story patient tower with a pediatric emergency department (ED), intensive care unit, and surgical floors with eight operating rooms.

The project relocates and expands services from Tacoma General Hospital. The new campus sits on the site of the original Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, which opened in 1955 and closed 30 years ago.
