McLeod Health Cheraw Expansion Project Begins Construction In South Carolina

The project will add 35 beds, including six ICU beds and two dedicated hospice beds, as well as new MRI and OR suites, and a women’s center.

McLeod Health (Florence, S.C.) has started construction on an expansion at McLeod Health Cheraw hospital in Cheraw, S.C., according to a news release.

The project adds 35 beds, including six intensive care unit (ICU) beds and two dedicated hospice beds, as well as an MRI suite, operating room (OR) suite, and women’s center for diagnostics.

Vannoy Construction (Greenville, S.C.) is the general contractor on the project. Construction is expected to be completed in 14-18 months.
