Memorial Hospital Of Sweetwater County Opens Medical Lab Building In Rock Springs, Wyoming

The $8.7 million project comprises 8,600 square feet of laboratory space and second level dedicated to office and storage space.

Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, a not-for-profit, regional critical access hospital in Rock Springs, Wyo., has opened an $8.7 million medical lab building according to a news release.

Phase one of the project, the 11,392-square-foot facility houses lab space on the ground floor and office and storage space on the second floor.  Additionally, the lab layout brings patient registration and specimen collection into a single space.

Phase two of the project is underway and involves remodeling the existing hospital. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
