Northeast Georgia Health System Breaks Ground On New Hospital

The 66,000-square-foot facility will comprise 16 private inpatient rooms and three ORs.

Northeast Georgia Health System (Gainesville, Ga.) is constructing a new hospital in Dahlonega, Ga., according to the website beckershospitalreview.com.

The 66,000-square-foot project includes:

  • 16 private inpatient rooms
  • an emergency department with 10 treatment rooms, four dedicated observation rooms, and a fast-track area
  • three operating rooms (ORs) and one procedural suite for orthopedics, sports medicine, and general surgery
  • café and dining area.
