Northwestern Medicine (Chicago) opened the Center for Advanced Endoscopy at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill., according to a news release.

The $15 million, 20,000-square-foot facility brings together consultations, diagnostics, and treatment in one location and advanced imaging, flexible robotics, and artificial intelligence-enabled diagnostics.

Future expansion plans include a hybrid operating room with gastrointestinal and interventional radiology capabilities.
