NYU Langone Health (New York City) will develop a new academic medical center in Huntington, N.Y., according to a news release.
The project will be located on a 45-acre campus and comprise a hospital, the New York University (NYU) Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, research space, and outpatient clinics.
The hospital will house 500 private inpatient rooms, 70 emergency department (ED) bays, advanced operating and procedure suites, and diagnostic imaging.
Ennead Architects (New York) is the architect on the project.
