PeaceHealth (Vancouver, Wash.) has opened Springfield Rehabilitation Hospital, a freestanding facility in Springfield, Ore., according to Look Out Eugene-Springfield.
The $76 million project delivers a 67,000-square-foot hospital with 42 beds and space to expand to 60 beds. The hospital also features a dedicated traumatic brain injury unit that can accommodate up to 12 patients.
Amenities include a 3,000-square-foot therapy gym with a supported harness walking track, a simulated apartment for relearning daily life skills, and a mock car to practice entering and exiting a vehicle. An outdoor courtyard offers a drift boat, putting green, and raised garden beds.
PeaceHealth and LifePoint Rehabilitation (Brentwood, Tenn.) jointly own and operate the facility.
