Integrated design and architecture firm SmithGroup (Phoenix) has elevated Craig Passey to director of health, according to a news release.
In his new role, he succeeds Wayne Barger, who will be retiring in April 2026.
Most recently serving the firm as health studio leader in its Phoenix office, Passey has more than 30 years of experience in the design of healthcare facilities, including projects for Banner Health (Phoenix), Indian Health Service (Rockville, Md.), Mountain Park Health Center-Tempe Clinic (Tempe, Ariz.), and River People Health Center (Scottsdale, Ariz.).
