St. Louis Children’s Hospital Unveils New Child Life Zone In Missouri

The project more than doubles the hospital’s play spaces and features a maker space, gaming hub, sensory room, and spa.

St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., has opened a new Child Life Zone designed for immersive play, tech exploration, and social activities, according to a news release.

The project, which took three years to complete, more than doubles the play spaces in the hospital, providing more than 3,000 square feet dedicated to therapeutic play. The space features a maker space, broadcast studio, gaming hub with virtual reality experiences, sensory room, spa, and photo booth.
