Tampa General Hospital Opens TGH Kennedy Emergency Center In Florida

The 15,000-square-foot freestanding ED includes 14 exam rooms, two trauma bays, and two triage rooms.

Nonprofit academic medical center Tampa General Hospital (TGH) in Tampa, Fla., opened the TGH Kennedy Emergency Center.

The 15,000-square-foot freestanding emergency department (ED) houses 14 exam rooms, two trauma bays, two triage rooms, and laboratory and imaging spaces.

A dedicated ambulance entrance is also included.

The TGH Kennedy Emergency Center is part of TGH’s $550 million master facility plan.
