A COVID-19 alternate care site at Nashua High School South in Nashua, N.H., will be dismantled due to diminished need, according to an article in New Hampshire Union Leader.

The 170-bed project was transformed more than two months ago by the Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services and never opened.

COVID-19 patients are hospitalized at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital, both in Nashua. At the height of the pandemic, the two facilities had about 20 patients between them.
