Texas Oncology (Dallas) broke ground on a new comprehensive cancer care center on the Christus Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth hospital campus, in Beaumont, Texas.

The 32,000-square-foot project will provide medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, chemotherapy, genetic counseling, and lab services and house double the number of infusion chairs of Texas Oncology’s current facility, a linear accelerator for radiation treatment, and an on-site pharmacy.

The project team includes McCarthy Building Companies Inc. (general contractor; St Louis) and Cottonwood Development (developer; Morganton, N.C.).

It is scheduled to open in spring 2023.
