The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (Columbus, Ohio) and Kindred Rehabilitation Services (Louisville, Ky.) are planning to replace the 60-bed Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital with a new 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Columbus, according to the website dispatch.com.

Situated adjacent to the medical center’s Outpatient Care East building, the 86,000 square-foot, three-story hospital will include treatment and research for patients with stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries.

It’s scheduled to open in 2025.
