University of New Mexico Hospital Plans Crisis Triage Center

The facility will include 16 inpatient beds for behavioral health patients.

University of New Mexico Hospital (UNM; Albuquerque, N.M.) is planning a new crisis triage center on the UNM campus in Albuquerque, according to an article in the Albuquerque Journal.

The center will provide temporary inpatient treatment for people who have mental health or substance abuse problems.

Plans call for the center to house 11 beds for men and five for women.
