View Behavioral Health (VBH; Colton, Calif.) has completed construction on VBH Colton Children’s, a new 52-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for children and adolescents in Colton, Calif., according to a news release.
The single-story, 24,000-square-foot facility is expected to begin admitting patients later this summer. In addition to four inpatient units, the campus offers indoor and outdoor recreation areas, dining rooms, admitting suites, and staff areas.
Patient care will be provided by medical staff, faculty, and physicians from the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine (Riverside, Calif.), working alongside VBH employees.
The project marks the first phase of a planned three-building behavioral health campus that will also include a 72-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for adults and an outpatient facility serving all age groups.
