The University of Kansas Health System Emergency Department Expansion: Accessible by elevator from the patient drop-off, the expanded waiting room offers a calm, spacious environment with an expanse of large windows and warm wood finishes. In both public and patient spaces, crisp white and teal accents colors as well as large murals of Kansas nature scenes reinforce a restorative environment.
