The University of Kansas Health System ED Expansion: Following check-in, patients are guided into one of the new treatment rooms. As much as possible, treatment rooms were designed with clerestory windows to bring natural light into the space. Each room is equipped with a nurse server cabinet, which enables staff members to stock room supplies from the hallway.
