Arnold’s Place Medical Respite Center Employs Trauma-informed Design

Arnold’s Place Medical Respite Center: At the center of the facility is a two-story atrium organized around an open stair. Natural light helps orient residents as they move through the building and establishes a sense of openness. The custom kinetic mobile at its center was commissioned to evoke the presence of a tree, casting shifting shadows of light across the floors and walls.
