At the south and east side of the new building, the landscape softens and screens the mechanical yard. Low-water-use plant materials consistent with the building palette enhance sustainability in the outdoor space. The irrigation system further addresses conservation by using recycled water and incorporating both spray heads as well as drip irrigation wherever possible.
