Multiple links were provided between the medical pavilion and the buildings it supports. These include two enclosed pedestrian bridges on the second and fourth levels of the new facility, connecting it with the adjacent Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. The building is also joined below grade with tunnels to the main hospital and the Cardiovascular Institute.
