Rama Hospital, Noida, India
Located in a mixed-use area on a 6,500-square-foot site, Rama Hospital responds to increasing demand for advanced medical infrastructure while addressing constraints of limited land availability in Noida, India.
Developed as a flagship model for the Rama Group (Pune, India), the hospital establishes a replicable planning framework that balances operational efficiency with patient experience. The facility opened in August 2025.
The design, led by Creative Designer Architects (New Delhi), adopts a vertically stacked system, organizing emergency, outpatient, diagnostic, surgical, and inpatient functions across a 14-story structure. Lower levels accommodate high-traffic departments such as outpatient services and diagnostics. Critical care and surgical suites form the central clinical core, while inpatient wards are on the floors above.
Adaptive reuse for urban healthcare planning
An existing structural shell was strengthened for the project, reducing construction timelines, costs, and embodied energy. Dual circulation cores segregate patient, visitor, and service movement, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and infection control.
Daylight-driven planning and climate-responsive façade systems create a healthcare environment that’s both high-performing and welcoming.
