Sage Memorial Hospital & Apartments: Inspired by the circular nature of Navajo ceremonies, the hospital lobby and waiting areas incorporate circular geometries carried throughout the entire design language, including the curved stairway, soffits, walls, reception and check-in desks, and finish transitions. These geometries enhance and increase social interaction, fostering connection and promoting a sense of community. Behind the viewpoint, a dramatic two-story glass wall floods the space with natural light and provides expansive views of the surrounding landscape, reinforcing the healing connection to nature.
