2023 Nightingale Product Awards: Gold, Silver, Innovation, And Sustainability Winners
Healthcare Design’s annual Nightingale Awards program saw a banner year in 2023 with a record number 55 products entered. The annual competition recognizes contributions to the healthcare built environment through product design and innovation that promote healing and productivity.
Among those products rising to the top in the 2023 competition were offerings designed to address the specific needs of behavioral health patients as well as new features that deliver on sustainability, safety, and staff efficiency goals.
Celebrating product design for healthcare
The annual awards are presented by Healthcare Design magazine in partnership with The Center for Health Design and the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo.
During the November conference in New Orleans, 14 jurors, including healthcare architects, interior designers, and facility executives, evaluated this year’s entries. Products are required to be exhibited at the show and are assessed by jurors prior to the exhibit hall opening to attendees.
Submissions are judged for their contribution to or solution for clinical or operational outcomes; aesthetics and innovation; built environment solution, durability, functionality, and quality; industry certification and standards; environmental sustainability; and list price.
