Nutex Health (Houston) is renovating the former Nix Hospital into a new microhospital in San Antonio, Texas, according to mysanantonio.com.
Slated for completion before the end of the year, the project includes eight ED beds and 14 inpatient beds, a full imaging suite, and laboratory.
The new hospital will provide services that include drug and alcohol detox and behavioral health.
