Novant Health Receives State Approval For New Hospital In Leland, North Carolina

Novant Health Leland Medical Center will comprise 20 acute care beds, 10 observation beds, and five procedure rooms.

Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.) has received state approval to build Novant Health Leland Medical Center, a new hospital in Leland, N.C., according to a news release.

The facility will include a 24/7 emergency department (ED), 20 acute care beds, 10 observation beds, and five procedure rooms. On-site imaging services will also be offered.

Additionally, the health system received approval to build a freestanding ED in Carolina Shores, N.C.
