New York-based design firm Ennead Architects is now part of CannonDesign, a global company with headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y., according to a news release.
Operating as a distinct studio now called “Ennead, a Cannon design company,” the 160-person practice has teams in New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. CannonDesign has a global network of nearly 1,600 designers, consultants, strategists, and technology leaders.
Ennead’s past projects include the Memorial Sloan Kettering David H. Koch Center, designed in partnership with Perkins Eastman, which opened in 2020 on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The firm is currently co-designing two new healthcare campuses for provider Inova (West Falls Church, Va.) in Alexandria, Va., according to a news release.
