Orlando Health To Begin Construction On Hospital, MOB In Viera, Florida

Orlando Health (Orlando, Fla.) plans to begin construction this summer on Orlando Health Viera Hospital in Viera, Fla., according to a news release.

The 40-acre site will include a 7-story hospital with 240 beds, an emergency department (ED), laboratories, surgical suites, and a pharmacy. A 3-story, 60,000-square-foot medical office building (MOB) on the campus will house practices focused on cardiovascular health, neurosciences, and other specialties.

The project will be completed in phases, with the ED expected to open first in fall 2027.
