UNM Health Completes Construction On Children’s Psychiatric Center In Albuquerque, New Mexico

The 32,500-square-foot facility houses 36 beds in single- and double-occupancy rooms, a central dining area, and communal spaces.

University of New Mexico (UNM) Health (Albuquerque, N.M.) has completed construction on UNM Hospital Children’s Psychiatric Center in Albuquerque, N.M., according to a news release.

The $36 million replacement and expansion project houses 36 beds in single- and double-occupancy rooms, a central dining area, and communal spaces in a new 32,500-square-foot building. A four-bed unit is dedicated to patients requiring acute care. Amenities include three outdoor courtyards with play equipment.
