Surrey Memorial Hospital has opened a new renal facility on its campus in Surrey, British Columbia, according to Canada Construct Connect.
The $85 million standalone facility houses 21 hemodialysis treatment stations, increasing the hospital’s total to 60 stations and expanding dialysis treatment capacity by approximately 55 percent.
Additionally, construction is underway to expand the hospital’s surgical services, adding a second MRI scanner, new patient waiting areas, and pre- and post-procedure spaces.
