University of Minnesota Twin Cities Opens Interprofessional Health Science Facility

The Health Sciences Education Center features simulation and immersive training for health professional students.

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities (Minneapolis) has opened the Health Sciences Education Center (HSEC), featuring simulation and immersive training for health professional students to train in real-world care settings, trainer stations, briefing/debriefing rooms, and actor prep areas.

The building also houses classrooms with active learning and small group teaching spaces, the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs, the Health Sciences Library and Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine, and student support and services.
