Loyola Medicine (Chicago) opened a new regional clinical laboratory on its campus of Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.

The 30,000-square-foot facility is located on two floors of the campus’ emergency medical services building and will serve Loyola University Medical Center, its academic medical center, and two community hospitals, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal Hospital. The lab is designed to consolidate several smaller labs across the three-facility system into one location.

The project team includes HED (designer; Chicago) and Leopardo Construction (builder; Chicago).
