WHR Architects is a full-service Architecture and interior design firm focused on projects in healthcare, education, science, and technology. The firm’s commitment to critical thinking is balanced by an ingrained empathy that results in both improved project outcomes and positive working experiences for our clients.
Research and evaluation, a participatory process, and applied innovation are the hallmarks of WHR’s work. These characteristics not only help deliver a high level of client satisfaction, but they also bring a new accountability to design and consulting while meeting the challenges of technology, operational and financial performance, safety, and productivity.
What do you think is a pressing issue/controversy today with healthcare design?
The predictability of the future state of medical technology, methodologies for healthcare delivery, and mechanisms for project design and construction is increasingly evasive. Those factors in combination with rapidly changing demographics and volatile construction costs are forcing our projects toward an unparalleled level of flexibility and adaptability.
