$51M Miami Center For Mental Health And Recovery Nears Completion In Florida

The Miami Center for Mental Health and Recovery is nearing completion in Miami, Fla.

The 180,000-square-foot, seven-story facility will house 208 beds.

Each of the patient floors will house 48 beds in single- and double-bedroom pods, 10 private bathrooms, a dedicated nurses’ station, and communal living area. The center will also comprise 40,000 square feet of secure outdoor space for exercise and recreation.

The project also includes designated rooms for clinical treatment and treatment for co-occurring substance abuse and trauma-related disorders; spaces for employment, vocational, and culinary training services; and areas for daytime activity programs.
