Baptist Memorial Health Care Investing $319 Million In Mississippi

The investments include an expanded and renovated emergency department as well as a replacement hospital.

According to “Memphis Business Journal,” Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp. is investing more than $300 million in North Mississippi.

Baptist Memorial Hospital–DeSoto recently broke ground on a $19 million emergency department expansion project that will add 20,000 square feet with an additional 9,000 square feet slated for renovation.

Baptist also is building a $300 million replacement hospital in Oxford, which is slated to open in November.
