Behavioral Health Center Resumes Development In Florida

The project was halted due to COVID-19 but is slated for completion in 2022.

Not-for-profit Lakeland Regional Health’s Center for Behavioral Health & Wellness will resume development in Lakeland, Fla., after temporarily being put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The facility will offer emergency stabilization, substance abuse, memory disorder, family behavioral health and wellness, and adult, adolescent, and child inpatient and outpatient services.

The facility will include secure outdoor space for patients and families.

The revised timeline for the completion of construction is now 2022.
