Cleveland Clinic Opens New Outpatient Eye Facility In Cleveland, Ohio

The 4-story Jeffrey and Patricia Cole Pavilion houses an ophthalmic surgical center with eight ORs, three refractive surgery procedure rooms, and 60 outpatient exam rooms.

Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland) opened The Jeffrey and Patricia Cole Pavilion, a new outpatient facility at the healthcare organization’s Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, according to a news release from HGA, the architectural designer on the project.

The new 4-story facility houses clinical, diagnostic, and surgical services and includes an ophthalmic surgical center with eight operating rooms (ORs), three refractive surgery procedure rooms, and 60 outpatient eye exam rooms.

Space for education and research is also available within the 150,000-square-foot facility, which connects to the Cole Eye Institute via a three-sided glass atrium.

The project team also includes in-house design team Cleveland Clinic Buildings + Design (Cleveland) and architect of record Bostwick Design Partnership (Cleveland).
