E4H Architecture, a national healthcare architecture firm, has released a guide on how facilities can best prepare for COVID-19. The online booklet, “Preparing Your Facility for COVID-19,” offers direction on several topics and includes diagrams as well as links to additional resources.
Topics covered include airborne infection isolation and retrofitting standard patient, treatment, and exam rooms; updating life safety paths; and wayfinding strategies, including temporary solutions at public entrances.
