National commercial general contractor HITT (Falls Church, Va.) has acquired healthcare construction firm Central Consulting & Contracting in New York, according to a news release.
The deal expands HITT’s footprint in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, where Central’s portfolio includes projects for Montefiore Health System (Bronx, N.Y.), Englewood Health (Englewood, N.J.), and St. Barnabas Health System Bronx (Bronx, N.Y.).
With the acquisition, Central’s Founder and CEO Richard Simone has joined HITT’s New York team as vice president.
