After hitting capacity twice in 2019, officials at The Willows of Marshalltown, Marshalltown, Iowa, added another six apartments to the memory care wing. According to a report in the Times-Republican, when The Willows opened in 2018 the facility offered 18 memory care apartments and 40 assisted living apartments. The reason for the increase in the percentage of memory care residents is not known.
