Mental Health Urgent Care Center Poised To Open In California

The $14.3 million, 9,900-square-foot project will offer mental health services to adults, children, and adolescents.

Star View, a subsidiary of Stars Behavioral Health Group (Long Beach, Calif.), and the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health, are set to complete a new mental health urgent care center, in Lancaster, Calif., by fall 2020, according to an article in the Antelope Valley Press.

The $14.3 million, 9,900-square-foot project will provide around-the-clock mental health services, including diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, crisis intervention/stabilization, medication support, and case management, to adults, children, and adolescents in crisis.

The project team includes general contractor The PENTA Building Group (Los Angeles).
