Orlando Health To Expand Florida Campus

The 320,000-square-foot project at its Lake Mary Hospital will include 180 beds, six ORs, and imaging suites.

Orlando Health (Orlando, Fla.) broke ground on a 320,000-square-foot acute care facility on its campus in Lake Mary, Fla., according to an article in WFTV.

The Orlando Heath Lake Mary Hospital, which comprises an emergency department and medical pavilion, is adding two six-story towers for 180 beds, with the capability to flex to an additional 60 beds. Six operating rooms (ORs), two catheterization labs, and an imaging suite, are also planned, as well as an observation unit, dining area, chapel, and gift shop.

The addition is expected to open in late 2023.
