Nonprofit integrated health network Renown Regional Medical Center (Reno, Nev.) has reopened an alternate care site (ACS) on the ground floor of its parking structure to serve additional hospitalized patients diagnosed with COVID-19, according to an article in KOLO News Now.

The 117-bed care site was built within a 10-day period last April.

The project team included Clark/Sullivan Construction (Sparks, Nev.), Curtis Bros. Construction (Reno), PK Electrical (Reno), Ainsworth Associates Mechanical Engineers (Reno), Intermountain Electric (Denver), Mt. Rose Heating & Air Conditioning (Reno), and Frank Lepori Construction (Sparks).
