Faas Medical Spa & Anti-Aging Center, which offers innovative anti-aging treatments using stem cell research and technology, unveiled its new 8,000-square-foot flagship in the historic city of Lijiang, China. The town is characterized by buildings with a traditional local architectural style, bound by strict rules of preservation.
As a starting point, Studio Alberto Apostoli (Verona, Italy) focused on safeguarding the historical shell, while inside, futuristic interior design elements, including modern lighting features, minimalist materials and colors, and thematic, organic elements, are used to represent the brand.
The building layout is defined as a series of separate volumes, connected through shelters and terraces, and superficially marked by partially windowed and covered wooden modules, typical of the traditional buildings of the area.
