Nonprofit health system SSM Health (St. Louis) plans to hold a topping-off ceremony this spring to mark the placement of the final piece of structural steel on its new SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, according to a news release.
The 14-story pediatric hospital will house more than 200 beds as well as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), cardiovascular ICU, operating rooms, and recovery spaces.
The project is expected to be completed in late 2027.
