Driscoll Children’s Hospital Opens New NICU In Corpus Christi, Texas

The Level IV NICU houses 60 beds, including 18 private patient rooms, three twin rooms, and nine open-bay rooms with four beds each.

Driscoll Children’s Hospital opened a new neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) on its campus in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to a news release.

The 26,000-square-foot NICU houses 60 beds on the hospital’s fifth floor and includes 18 private patient rooms, three twin rooms, and nine 4-bed open bay rooms.

The new Level IV NICU replaces a previous unit.
