Grady Health System To Add Freestanding ED In Georgia

Grady Health System (Atlanta) plans to build a $38 million standalone emergency department (ED) in South Fulton County, Ga., according to fox5atlanta.com.

The 20,000-square-foot project will include 16 treatment bays for adult and pediatric care, comprehensive diagnostic services, and a helipad.

Construction is expected to begin in fall 2024, pending regulatory approvals, and the opening is scheduled for 2026.
