McLaren Greater Lansing Opens Hospital In Michigan

The $600 million project includes an ED, ICU, heart institute, and orthopedic and sports medicine units.

McLaren Greater Lansing has opened a new hospital in Lansing, Mich., according to an article in the Lansing State Journal.

The $600 million, 750,000-square-foot hospital includes 310 acute care beds, clinical centers for oncology and women and children’s health, medical/surgical units, an emergency department (ED), intensive care unit (ICU), heart institute, and orthopedic and sports medicine units. A staff library, outdoor spaces for patients and families, pharmacy, and 650-car garage are also included.

With the new facility opening, the health organization will close two existing hospitals in Lansing.
